    I offer both virtual and in-person coaching sessions. Virtual sessions are conducted via video or telephone, giving you the flexibility to participate from anywhere, at your convenience. For those in the Portland, Oregon area, in-person sessions are available by appointment for an additional fee. Reach out to learn more about how both options can support your wellness journey!
  • What are your business hours?
    I offer coaching sessions by private appointment only. Please reach out to schedule a session at a time that works best for you. I am flexible and will do my best to accommodate your needs.
  • Do you work with clients under 18?
    No, my coaching services are specifically designed for adults aged 18 and over. This ensures we can dive into deeper topics and work with the full autonomy needed for effective, lasting change. If you’re under 18 and interested in coaching, I recommend seeking out a specialist who focuses on youth wellness.
  • Who is your ideal client?
    My ideal client is anyone ready to take charge of their health and commit to the process, regardless of race, age, gender, identity, or current health status. The only requirement is a willingness to show up, embrace the journey, and put in the work – even (and especially) when it gets challenging. If you’re open to exploring new possibilities and dedicated to making real, lasting change, we’ll be a great fit!

It requires rigorous training, a comprehensive exam, and a commitment to ethical standards and continuing education. Choosing an NBC-HWC-certified coach ensures you’re working with a professional who has proven expertise, adheres to high industry standards, and is qualified to guide you safely and effectively on your wellness journey.
  • What can I expect from a health coaching session?
    Each coaching session lasts 50 minutes and is held virtually for your convenience (or in-person for an additional fee). Our sessions are personalized to align with your unique goals. We’ll start by discussing your current health, identify areas for improvement, and set actionable goals to help you move forward. Throughout our time together, I’ll provide strategies and tools to support sustainable lifestyle changes and empower you to achieve long-term wellness. Session frequency is flexible and can be tailored to your preferences – whether you prefer weekly, biweekly, or monthly check-ins, we’ll find the right rhythm to suit your needs.
  • What sets Three Roses apart from other coaching services?
    At Three Roses, you can expect a straightforward, no-nonsense approach with a healthy dose of humor and compassion. I’m here to challenge you when needed, but always with your growth in mind.   • How can wellness coaching improve mental health?
    Wellness coaching can enhance mental health by providing support, guidance, and strategies to manage stress, build resilience, and promote positive thinking. A coach helps you set actionable goals, develop coping skills, and maintain motivation. However, it's important to note that wellness coaching is not a substitute for therapy. If you're dealing with serious mental health concerns, a licensed therapist may be better suited to support you.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    I accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and payments through PayPal. All transactions are processed securely to protect your privacy.
  • Do you offer any discounts?
    Yes, I offer a 10% discount for those who serve others, including veterans, healthcare professionals, first responders, and educators, as a way to give back to those who dedicate their careers to helping others. I also offer a 5% discount when you commit to 10 or more sessions. This is perfect for clients looking for ongoing support and lasting transformation.   • Can I use my health insurance to cover the cost of coaching?
    Currently, most health insurance providers do not cover health coaching services. However, some clients use Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to cover coaching expenses. I recommend contacting your insurance provider or FSA/HSA administrator to confirm eligibility.
  • Are there any penalties for canceling a session?
    I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. If the session is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the full session fee will be forfeited. Emergencies are always considered, so please reach out if you have any concerns.
  • Do you offer refunds?
    All sales are final, and I don’t offer refunds. This policy helps us stay fully committed to the coaching process and the goals we’re working toward. However, if I ever need to cancel a session and we can’t find a time to reschedule, I’ll happily refund that session. If you have concerns or need to reschedule, please don’t hesitate to reach out – I’ll do my best to accommodate you within my 24-hour cancellation policy.
